Second panoramic metro station to be constructed in Moscow

The new station will be added to the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line of the Moscow metro station.

The Michurinsky prospect station will have one glass wall, as the Vorobijevy Gory station has.

The choice is explained by the landscape features, there is a height difference at the cross of the Michurinsky prospect and Udaltsova street.

One part of the station will be underground and one part will be above the ground, its panoramic windows facing the park.

The length of the section will be about 14 km and it will include 7 stations:

-Michurinsky prospect
-Ochakovo
-Tereshkovo
-Solntsevo
-Borovskoe shosse
-Novoperedelkino
-Rasskazovka

The construction of the station is a part of the work for Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line extension from the Ramenka station to the Rasskazovki station.

The line begins operation in 2017.
